GOD'S HEART : A CHURCH WITHOUT RELIGION...

We have been making the same statement for countless years: we need to break free from religion, yet religion seems to remain ever present...

A little history in a nutshell :

For a long time the Catholic Church was the biggest church movement, until some guys, who weren't happy with the religious demond there, broke free and started the Protestant movement. After a while, there too some guys "rebelled" against the (new? persistant?) religious demons of the movement, and so the Pentecostal movement was born. Since then, we have seen an explosion of "churches" (denominations), each one claiming to be THE church and to be free from religiousness. Yet guess what, when you look at them close enough, you will find at least one religious demon hiding there in some form...

Why is that? Why do we struggle so much to break free from religion? The answer is fairly simple: we do not pursue RELATIONSHIP enough!

See, until Jesus came, man needed rules and regulations to function according to the righteousness of God. After that, the idea was that we needed only to accept Him and receive the Holy Spirit. The Law was automatically written on our hearts through the infilling of the Spirit. From that point on the idea was to cultivate a relationship with God and from there everything would flow spontaneously - including the miraculous and the supernatural.

If, however, you do NOT have a relationship with God right now and do not rely on the Holy Spirit to guide you in your life and decisions, then the only way for you to be able to live a good moral life would be to revert to rules and regulations.

There is a worldwide movement rising right now that understands that denominations are so yesterday... In the sense that the Bride can't come into perfection while she is cut into lots of tiny, malfunctioning little parts that all want to be the head 😆. That doesn't mean that we can't have our local churches... but fellowship should not be restrained to the religious rule: "this is your family and nowhere else", and other similar religious limitations. We need to embrace different churches and love each other over the borders!

Furthermore, relationship with God should not be limited to a once-a-week-and-maybe-one-homegroup "thingy" anymore. He wants "in" on our lives EVERY day. 24/7. We need to develop a Kingdom lifestyle, and that is what this movement is all about. But who says "movement", must also say "beware of religious demons"...

While man is still man, there will be imperfection. Even within this worldwide "Kingdom-age" movement, there will be those who will try to impose religion again... It is our responsibility as believers to test the spirits. How do we do that?

1) God's Word is our ultimate guide and if anything anybody tells you doesn't agree with the Word it's a no-no

2) BUT, many (the devil included) quote the Bible perversely to impose their views, so if you don't want to be fooled, you need...the Holy Spirit ! You need to be in RELATIONSHIP with God!

In short: It is time for Christians worldwide to come into a real and living and intimate relationship with our beloved God. It is time to not be contented with "playing church" and to get hungry for God and pursue Him!

It is time!
