BREAKING THROUGH THE CLOUDS

Truth has a way to “break through” in our lives in the same way that the sun sometimes breaks through the clouds - it spotlights the unmistakably evident.

Where we live, high up in the mountains, there is often a peak that manages to stay above the clouds. Sometimes, on misty days, I hike up to the closest peak in the hope of finding the sun there.

We need to do the same thing with truth - we have to pursue it, otherwise the “mists” of life will just cloud your mind again. It is a WILLFUL choice to pursue truth. It happened to me today that a truth broke through my misty mind. I realized that I had perceived it before, but I have allowed it to become overshadowed time and time again. So I took the time today to identify what I had to do in order to rise above the clouds of my mind. I realized that it would take me a few months, but that, if I am truly willing, God will help me to get there quicker!

Don’t accept remaining a prisoner of your own lies and preconceived ideas - journey upward!
