DELIVERANCE IN 3...2...1...DONE!

Did you notice what the Word says in James 4:7?

“Resist the devil and he will FLEE from you”!!

Wow. He won’t go stand in the corner, he will RUN!

See, obedience is a POWERFUL action that has a dramatic impact on the spiritual realm. But so is sin. They have exactly opposite effects. When we sin, we invite unseen demonic actors into our lives. We literally open doors and say “come on in”! From experience I can assure you: if you allow one sin in your life all others will start looking less bad and more appealing, because these demons influence us, and before you know it, you will struggle with a number of issues!

The good news is that Jesus has given us the authority to chase them out and shut the door in their face! It is NEVER too late or too far down the road! Believe you me - been there done that!!

It is not supposed to be a long tedious process, requiring hours of repentance and deliverance sessions either, but it does require FIRMNESS. If you say “no” to sin today but “yes” tomorrow, it is back to square one! James warns us that, as long as we are double minded we won’t get what we ask for... so we must make up our mind and stick with it!

Remember that you will RARELY feel like taking that step of obedience. Remember that you will ALWAYS find a million reasons to put it off or justify your sin. Remember that you are NEVER ALONE in this...

God is there, willing and wanting to help you out of your mess. As a matter of fact, He is able to keep us from falling, so it would be stupid to try and do it without His help. Don’t think “I’ll make right and then go back to God”. RUN to God and He will help you. Ask Him to steady you, to back you and to keep you motivated and strong against temptation. He is the one Who binds up the “strong man” and cleanses your home. If you try to do it without Him, well, the strong man will come back with other buddies (other temptations).

In short: don’t delay, kick devil-butt today! 😉😃
