MY WORST MISTAKE

Today 21 years ago I did something that would change my life forever - I married the wrong guy.

What followed was a life 10000km away from my family, much heartache, many tears, endless fights, abuse, deep rooted bitterness and indescribable loneliness.

Yet it was in this terrible wilderness that I have truly come to know my Father. My religious rags made way for a beautiful garment of restoration through relationship with the Lover of my soul!

He only needed me to trust Him.

Now, 21 years later, here I am: back with my family, happily married to a loving husband, filled with joy, living a life of peace, a restored being, walking in absolute forgiveness and enjoying fellowship on a daily basis.

You see, your Wilderness can be that which makes you or breaks you, it absolutely only depends on whom you choose to rely on to guide and sustain you through the journey. It does NOT depend on how STRONG you are, but on how willing you are to surrender to, and trust in, Him.

I could never regret my wilderness, because it taught me things about God that you can only know if He becomes your all in all.

If you find yourself in the middle of a wilderness experience, I promise you that He can turn it into the most beautiful of journeys because He promised to work all things for the good of those who love Him. So, if you truly love Him, you can trust Him to transform every work of the enemy into something that will bless you!
