OUR JOB DESCRIPTION? SURRENDER!

Over the past months, God has spoken to and through His prophets in exceptional clarity, giving us unprecedented direction and clarity on what we are supposed to do.

So we have been speaking, declaring, interceding, teaching.... but now I’ve found that we have come to a point where everything is said and done and an almost tangible silence is hanging over us.

In moments like these, what do we do?

For weeks I have studied the Exodus and the Crucifixion, 2 parallels that have become our blueprint for the days that we are living in right now (March to May 2020). I watched in amazement as these stories were prophetically repeated in a modern world - from a physical lockdown to a spiritual journey.

I encouraged those “given” to me, on my tiny level, to follow hard after Him, to rest in Him, to pray fervently, to surrender completely, to learn their authority and to play their part in helping “bring Heaven to earth”.

As God started to reveal the intended Great and coming Revival with more and more precision, I wondered when I should fast. It seemed obvious that I had to do something somewhere!

I considered a 10 day fast, but He said nothing.

I thought about a consecration fast of 3 days, but again He was silent.

Then I opened the Word yesterday and read Matthew 9 where Jesus explained to John’s disciples that His own disciples didn’t have to fast because they were walking with Him in close communion. I suddenly realised that fasting, even though it may be a beautiful and powerful experience, sometimes has no place or purpose...! When we walk in a 24/7 intimate relationship with God, fasting becomes obsolete and “besides the point”.

I understood, all of a sudden what He expected from me in these last days and hours of countdown before the greatest revival humanity will ever know:

Nothing.

He will do everything!

Beloved of God, your time has come. What we have prayed for is about to manifest!!

In moments like these, what do we do?

It has never been easier:

We surrender, we rest in Him, we wait... and we enjoy!
