THE CORNERSTONE...

Last night as I lay in my bed, I was reminded of John’s revelation. He understood that he was loved by Jesus. Not comparatively to the others. Just that he was immensely loved. And this revelation kept him alive even when they tried to boil him in oil! He so solidly believed in God’s love for him that there was no place left for fear and doubt. And aren’t these what ruin our lives?

Think about stress, worry, anxiety and sickness - aren’t we kept from an abundant life BECAUSE we fear and doubt? I was challenged by this question last night: Do you, Lila, believe that you are my beloved child? I realized that I didn’t. Not really.

And isn’t it right there where we should start our walk with God? With the profound conviction that, if He had given His life for me, there isn’t anything that He wouldn’t do for me?

It is time that we start throwing ourselves into His arms with reckless abandon and start trusting Him for the greater miracles that He said we would witness!
